I am passionate about raising money for the Perinatal Inpatient Psych Unit ​because I intimately understand the profound impact it can have on ​individuals and families. Having navigated through perinatal and post-​partum depression myself, I know firsthand the depths of despair and the ​challenges it brings, not only to my own well-being but also to the welfare of ​my children. UNC's Perinatal Inpatient Psych Unit became my sanctuary, ​offering me the support, care, and resources I needed to navigate through ​one of the most challenging periods of my life. Their dedication and ​expertise not only saved my life but also ensured the health and happiness ​of my son. Now, fueled by gratitude and a desire to give back, I am driven to ​raise awareness and funds for this vital cause, ensuring that others in ​similar situations receive the lifesaving care they need.

How to Support
